Nearest Green Distillery in Shelbyville, TN, is the world’s first distillery dedicated to honoring Nathan “Nearest” Green, the godfather of Tennessee Whiskey. Nicknamed “Malt Disney World” and named a “true whiskey destination” by Travel + Leisure, this 323-acre property offers an immersive experience for whiskey enthusiasts, history lovers, and families alike. What an experience!!! Let's start with the beautiful facility grounds. As you pull up to the well manicured lawn and meticulously decorated green and white buildings it screams CLASS and ELEGANCE. Our tour guide Julie was AMAZING.... knowledgeable and fun. All the staff was super friendly and helpful. I loved the speakeasy tour, the Sand Creek Farm walking horse history, as well as the on-site bottling experience. I truly enjoyed this tour into history. Thank you Mrs. Fawn and Team for bring Nearest story to center stage. This is a MUST do if you are ever in Middle Tennessee!!!

My girlfriends and I went to Nearest Green Distillery on 12/6. We had the best time it was like a private tour because it was just the six of us. Our tour guide was Terrell.
