Nearest Green Distillery in Shelbyville, TN, is the world’s first distillery dedicated to honoring Nathan “Nearest” Green, the godfather of Tennessee Whiskey. Nicknamed “Malt Disney World” and named a “true whiskey destination” by Travel + Leisure, this 323-acre property offers an immersive experience for whiskey enthusiasts, history lovers, and families alike. The distillery celebrates the heritage of Tennessee through its tribute to three state icons—Tennessee Whiskey, Tennessee walking horses, and Tennessee music.
